Open Positions

As a Junior Consultant, you will be responsible for actively participating in the development and delivery of consulting projects by:

  • Contributing to internal brainstorming sessions to develop project methodology and recommendations
  • Conducting independent desk research to a specific brief using internal and external sources
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to aid the generation of recommendations; exercise informed business judgment in identifying the approach to answering the question
  • Conducting phone or face-to-face interviews in the client team or external stakeholders
  • Contributing to the preparation, execution and follow-up of training sessions and workshops
  • Taking responsibility for creating sections of reports, presentations and other client deliverables, under supervision
  • Presenting to client audiences via teleconference or in face-to-face meetings
  • Building professional relationships with members of the client team
  • Proactively developing knowledge of consulting methodologies
  • Assisting in proposal writing


Skills & Experience

Successful candidates should have:

Qualifications & Other Requirements

In addition to the skills and experience above, candidates interested in joining Consulting Services should have:

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a closely related field
  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral); additional languages an advantage
  • A strong commitment to high-quality work and an interest in rapid learning and skill development
  • A willingness and ability to travel
  • Right to live and work in the Netherlands

As a Research & Strategy Data Scientist you will be responsible for actively participating in our projects by:

  • Developing and implementing statistical and machine learning algorithms to support new processes and offerings
  • Applying statistical design and appropriate methodology to meet insight needs, including preparing/analysing data, applying statistical design and Stat/ML methodologies to meet specific study needs; developing and programming; conducting statistical analyses to derive conclusions from the studies, assisting or directly preparing presentations of results
  • Quantitative and qualitative complex analysis
  • Support in the implementation and deployment of new statistical and machine learning technologies
  • Working with technology teams to support machine-learning algorithms in big data platforms (web application development nice to have)
  • Member of project team ensuring efficient and effective project delivery to meet project team and client expectations


Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics or related fields with a strong focus on quantitative analysis, including an acceptable number of courses in statistical methods and theory
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in quantitative data analyses, ideally with market research or cybersecurity or health sciences project experience
  • Very knowledgeable in advanced statistics, econometric and machine learning methodologies as well as experience in analysing large data sets
  • Up to date in machine learning and data mining techniques is desirable
  • Very good knowledge of Python or equivalent (i.e., R),
  • Very good knowledge of SQL
  • Very good knowledge of big data technologies and languages (i.e., PySpark, Scala)
  • Good programming skills
  • Strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within challenging timelines
  • A commitment to working independently and collaboratively with others in and across the team
  • Proven time management and personal organizational skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Clear written and oral communication concerning the technical aspects of a project and the ability to develop usable documentation
  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral); additional languages an advantage

What to Expect
  1. Apply to an open position by sending us your CV and a cover letter (no more than 1 page each). In the cover letter please explain how your experience matches the job description.
  2. First Round Interview: First round interviews last around 30 minutes. We want to understand your reasons for applying to trustilio and your chosen business area. We will ask you about specific areas of interest from your CV, your education, your career motivations and we will invite you to discuss how your experiences have shaped your skills.
  3. Second Round Interview (if applicable): This stage will include a practical test to examine your skills on project management, logical reasoning, statistical analysis and programming. You will have to complete this test by yourself in a specific timeframe as part of the recruitment process. Then you will send it back to us to assess your answers.
  4. Third Round Interview (if applicable): This next stage will test your general business acumen and potential consulting skills. You will not need to prepare anything in advance, we will provide all the materials and give you time to prepare on the day. The content of the interview varies by business area. However, most assessment days include: a competency-based interview, a case study and a group exercise.
  5. Final Round Interview: In the final stage of the process, you will be interviewed by a partner from the service or sector you have applied to, in person or over the phone, for up to one hour. It is your chance to ask any remaining questions to further your understanding of the role and team, as we make a final assessment of your suitability for the role.
